Hello BCGS Family,

Here it is May already. Singing’s gonna be early – mark it in red on your calendar – MAY 18th.  School is fixing to be out, graduation day’s coming for some and Memorial Day is sliding right on in.  Wow, where has it gone?  We’re gonna be in Alvin this month.  Early, early, early, Believers Sanctuary – on Friday May 18th – 111 House Street – Alvin, TX.  This is Harry Brigham’s home church.  Get ready for a Hallelujah shoutin’ time cause that’s what we’re gonna have.  This is the third time for this church to host BCGS and it’s been a wow every time!  So—we couldn’t expect any less than wow for our God.  I’m counting the days and I know Jesus is too, cause we can hardly wait for this great party.  My shoutin’ shoes are already starting to jump around just thinking about it, haha.  Come on family – grab a car full and come on out for an exciting praise filled night with folks who love our Savior and want to rejoice with Him.  Doesn’t matter if their family or friends – just bring ‘em on, tell ‘em their gonna have the time of their life!  REMEMBER EARLY, Friday – May 18th – Believers Sanctuary – 111 House St. – Alvin.  See ya there—yea!!

Last month we slipped into Fort Bend County –yep –Needville First Baptist Church and boy did we party!  We had a good turn out and it was our fourth year to be hosted by First Baptist.  A gigantic thank you to Bro. Jeff, Marilyn Foraker, and all the members of First Baptist for allowing us to come and worship our Jesus with you.  You made us feel so welcome, thanks again.  Wow it was great.  Our regular MC, Keith, wasn’t able to be there because his wife was in the hospital.  So TC did that job and a fantastic job he did.  Thank you loads, TC.  It’s good to have somebody right ready to step in when you need ‘em.  Had a Young man who did a marvelous job at running sound.  This is a hard job and we surely appreciate it, thanks again.  We had 13 to bring praise and worship that night.  A multitude of thanks go out to each who brought praise to our Lord.  Again thanks to each of you.  The receivers were out in groves—a bushel of thanks to each of those receivers, you helped make it  a great night.  I pray you were blessed tremendously and are looking forward to another party.  Thank you all for coming out.  How great is our God—the love offering from the church was $170.00 along with a hand in offering of $50.00 a few days later.  The love offering goes for stamps, ink etc. to get this newsletter out.  May God bless the gift and the giver!  Now, there is the  matter of those fabulous vittles that were there for us ‘ole hungry worshipers, praisers, and receivers, boy oh boy were they good!  Some come straight from work ,so by the time the party is winding down we’re hung-e-r-y.  The ladies at First Baptist and from BCGS families really put on a spread.  Gosh it was good!  Thanks again for all your time and trouble.

Prayer request---I know Keith’s wife, Rosie, needs prayer.  Also all of our cancer patients need to be remembered daily.  Bill and Judy Parsons need our prayers too.  Julie Patton still hasn’t been able to be back so remember her, please.  We have 2 unbooked months, so far, this year but God has given us 2 churches to consider those dates so pray about that please.  All Pastors need prayer cause Satan is ramped!   Our Nation is one good sign of that so remember her everyday along with the leaders of America.  The Armed Forces along with their families need daily prayer also.  EMS workers need prayer too.  Remember the people who are out of work ,they desperately need prayer.

Must go, get this typed and to the mail box.  REMEMBER EARLY—EARLY—EARLY—singing date—May 18th—Believers Sanctuary—111 House St.—Alvin.  I’m excited about this shoutin’ party – hands already itching to clap!  Grab those people, bring ‘em out so they can see what a party with our Jesus is like, nothing better!  Till we meet again may God keep you safe and well in the palm of His hand.  Gotta go—on the run with this.  Love ya all—see ya there.

I will sing a new song to You, O God; upon a harp, an instrument of ten strings, will I offer praises to You.
